OpenAI FINALLY released Sora! 🤖 

OpenAI has launched Sora, its advanced text-to-video AI model, as part of its 12-day "ship-mas" product release series 🎄 

Sora allows users to generate videos from text prompts, making it a powerful tool for creating realistic and imaginative scenes. The model can produce videos up to 1080p resolution and 20 seconds in length, with options for widescreen, vertical, and square aspect ratios ✅ 

Sora Turbo, an updated version of the model, includes features like animating images, remixing videos, and generating videos from text. Users can also browse a feed of AI-generated videos created by the community. The Pro plan, which costs $200 per month, offers unlimited generations and higher resolution videos 🤔 

OpenAI has decided to include visible watermarks and metadata to identify AI-generated content. The company has also implemented safeguards to prevent the generation of harmful content, such as child sexual abuse materials and sexual deepfakes.

Sora is currently available to ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers, with the Plus plan allowing users to create 50 videos in 480p quality per month. The Pro plan offers 10 times more usage, higher resolutions, and longer durations.

Currently, the supported countries include regions across the globe such as United States, India, Japan, Australia, & Canada. However, it is not currently available in European Union countries, UK & China due to regulatory concerns 👀 

X’s new image generator: Aurora 🖼️ 

X (formerly Twitter) has announced the launch of its new image generator, Aurora, which will be available to all users within the week 📆 

Developed by Elon Musk's AI company, xAI, Aurora was initially added to X's Grok assistant last Saturday, then removed, and is now being officially reintroduced.

But soon after, I lost access! 😬 

Aurora excels at photorealistic rendering and can follow text instructions to generate images. It can also take inspiration from or directly edit user-provided images ✅ 

The image generator will be accessible through the Grok tab on X's mobile apps and the web.

Manchester City will wear an AI generated kit ⚽️

Manchester City has launched a competition allowing fans to design the club's official third kit for the 2026-2027 season using AI 🤖 ⚽️ 

In collaboration with Puma and DeepObjects, the club introduced the Puma AI Creator, a text-to-image uniform generator.

Fans can create an account, enter a prompt, and choose a style like "abstract," "emotive brushstrokes," or "dream visions" to generate their designs ✅ 

Participants receive 15 credits to create designs, with each design costing one credit. Only two designs can be submitted for the competition, which ends on December 20th.

The winning design, chosen by fan ratings and experts from Manchester City and Puma, will be worn by players and sold to fans 👀
