Midjourney releases V7 🎨📈 

Midjourney has unveiled its latest AI image generation model, V7, marking its first major update in nearly a year. This new model introduces several exciting features:

• Personalization: Users can create a profile by rating around 200 images, allowing the model to tailor its outputs to individual visual preferences.
  

• Draft Mode: A faster and cost-effective option for generating images, Draft Mode produces results at 10x the speed and half the cost of standard mode. While the quality is slightly lower, images can be enhanced with a click.
  

• Improved Coherence: V7 boasts better text and image prompt handling, delivering higher-quality visuals with enhanced textures and detail.

The model is available in two variants: Turbo (faster but costlier) and Relax. Some features like image upscaling and retexturing are not yet available but are expected in future updates ✅ 

Amazon’s new AI agent will shop third-party sites for you 🛍️ 

Amazon has introduced a new AI shopping agent called "Buy for Me", designed to enhance the online shopping experience. If Amazon doesn't have the item you're searching for, this feature will display products from other websites directly within the Amazon Shopping app. Users can select and purchase these items without leaving the app 🛍️ 

The AI agent autonomously visits external websites, fills in details like name, shipping address, and payment information, and completes the purchase on behalf of the user. Powered by Amazon's Nova AI models and Anthropic's Claude, the feature uses encryption to securely handle billing information 📄 

Currently in testing with a limited group of users, "Buy for Me" aims to streamline shopping and expand Amazon's reach beyond its own marketplace ✅ 

Adobe launches Premiere Pro’s generative AI video extender ✨

Adobe has rolled out exciting updates to Premiere Pro, including the Generative Extend feature powered by its Firefly AI model. This tool allows users to extend video clips by up to two seconds in 4K quality, making transitions smoother and correcting unexpected movements. It also supports ambient audio extension for up to ten seconds ✅ 

Other updates include AI-powered Search, which lets users locate clips using text descriptions, and Caption Translation, enabling automatic multilingual captions in 27 languages. Premiere Color Management simplifies color correction by converting raw footage into HDR or SDR formats.

Adobe has also enhanced After Effects with features like HDR monitoring, improved 3D tools, and a high-performance preview playback engine. These updates aim to streamline workflows and empower creators to focus on storytelling.

TSMC and Intel Partner for Joint Venture 🤝 

Intel and TSMC are reportedly forming a historic partnership to address Intel's ongoing manufacturing challenges. The collaboration involves creating a joint venture where TSMC will take a 20% stake in Intel's chipmaking facilities. Instead of a cash investment, TSMC will contribute its manufacturing expertise and training programs to help revitalize Intel's production capabilities 🤖 

This partnership, reportedly facilitated by the White House, aims to strengthen U.S. semiconductor manufacturing amidst growing geopolitical tensions. While this move could provide Intel with access to TSMC's advanced manufacturing techniques, it has faced internal resistance from Intel executives concerned about potential layoffs and the future of Intel's own technology.

The collaboration is seen as a significant step for Intel to regain its footing in the competitive semiconductor market, while TSMC secures a stronger presence in the U.S. 👀
