OpenAI’s o1 and ChatGPT Pro is HERE! 👀 

OpenAI’s o1 model is finally out of preview! And that’s not it, OpenAI has also introduced a new subscription tier called ChatGPT Pro, priced at $200 per month. Here’s everything you need to know 👇️ 

1. In tests, the o1 model showed a 30% improvement in reasoning tasks and a 25% increase in accuracy for complex problem-solving scenarios including competitive math, code and PhD-level science questions!
   

   

2. With ChatGPT Pro, subscribers will now get unlimited access to OpenAI’s most advanced models, including o1, o1-mini, and GPT-4o. These models are designed to handle a wide range of tasks with high accuracy and reliability ✅ 
   

3. A standout feature of this subscription is the o1 pro mode, which uses more compute power to deliver highly reliable and comprehensive responses. This mode is particularly beneficial for complex tasks in fields such as data science, programming, and case law analysis 🤔 
   

4. The subscription includes an Advanced Voice Mode which is aimed at making conversations with AI more fluid and intuitive.
   

5. OpenAI has indicated that more powerful, compute-intensive productivity features will be added to this plan in the future 👀 

With all of that being said, o1 is now fully rolled out to ALL of ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Pro users!

This new o1 model might mark an inflection point in the history of all AI chatbots. But my main concern still remains the $200/month price point for the pro plan. Do you think it’s worth it to pay $200 a month for a chatbot in 2024? 🤔 

Microsoft announced ‘Copilot Vision’ 👀 

Microsoft has just announced Copilot Vision, an AI-powered tool integrated into Microsoft Edge, designed to enhance user interaction with web content.

It can read, understand, and interact with the content on your screen, providing a range of functionalities which include ⬇️ 

1. Content Understanding: Copilot Vision can answer questions about the content you’re viewing, making it easier to find specific information without having to manually search.
   

2. Summarization: It can provide concise summaries of long articles or documents, helping you quickly grasp the main points.
   

3. Translation: The tool can translate text on the screen into different languages, which is useful when browsing foreign websites.
   

4. Product Highlighting: When shopping online, Copilot Vision can highlight products and provide additional information, such as reviews and price comparisons.

Microsoft has emphasized the privacy aspects of Copilot Vision and said that all data processed by Copilot Vision is deleted after each session, which means that no personal information is stored ✅ 

Currently, Copilot Vision is available in preview mode only in the U.S. and requires a subscription to Microsoft’s Copilot Pro plan 👀 

Google’s new December drop is… 🤔 

Google’s December feature drop introduces several updates for Pixel and Android devices.

Key highlights include new Gemini extensions for Spotify, Messaging, Calling, and Smart Home, allowing users to explore songs, send messages, and control smart home devices through Gemini 🗣️ 

Accessibility enhancements feature Expressive Captions, which reflect emotions like [whispering] and [cheers and applause], and the Lookout app now includes Gemini 1.5 for richer image descriptions and voice-commanded Q&A 👀 

Pixel devices receive updates such as increased font size and touch sensitivity for better visibility, theft protection requiring biometric authentication for sensitive settings changes, and enhanced call screening ✅ 

Google Drive now offers better auto-enhancements for document scans, and sharing is simplified with QR codes in the share sheet.

Tencent’s casually dropped a 13B parameter model 🤯 

Tencent has recently launched HunyuanVideo, a powerful open-source AI model designed for text-to-video generation.

It is the world’s largest open-source video generation model, boasting over 13 billion parameters. This model aims to produce high-quality videos with features like dynamic camera angles and realistic reflections ✅ 

The model is freely available for both enterprise and personal use, democratizing access to advanced AI video generation technology.

HunyuanVideo is positioned to compete with other advanced AI video generation tools like OpenAI’s Sora. It outperforms existing systems such as Runway Gen-3 and Luma 1.6 in terms of motion quality 🍃
